Red Hot Chili Peppers - One Hot Minute

Were all of the Red Hot Chili Peppers strung out on heroin? This album makes me question what the hell they were doing. You cannot put all of the blame on Dave Navarro, for their is nothing wrong with the guitar in this album. Just listen to Deep Kick, and you will understand what I mean. The song had so much potential and they ruined it with spoken word that doesn't even relate to anything important. This album can relate to Mother's Milk with the funk-metal guitar. Flea still does live up to his name with his funky bass lines (Falling into Grace!). It is safe to say that Hillel Slovak and John Frusciante should be the only guitarists.

Ramones - Ramones (1976 Self Titled)

One of the first and greatest punk rock albums ever created. It is amazing how short and simple the album is. The bass in each song completely mesmerizes the listeners, in a good way(of course). The rawness of the guitar makes this album hard not to listen to. How can you listen to Judy is a Punk and not get a stream of energy in you? When someone mentions Punk Rock this should be at the top of every single list.

Megadeth - Rust in Peace

                                                              4.0 - 5.0

This album has some decent solos and shredding, however, it is this shredding that gets a little bit repetitive. I feel that Dave Mustaine gets just a little bit carried away. Besides that, this album definitely makes you want to  go head banging. Rust in Peace definitely can be compared with Among the Living, Master of Puppets, and Reign in Blood.
